Anegada - Bitter End Home > Vacation > Caribbean 12/2001 We started our Virgin Island trip in Tortola. On the first day we sailed to Anegada, a flat island at the northern tip of the British Virgin Islands. Anegada is known for shallow water, which was fine, because we chartered a catamaran with low draft. From Anegada we sailed back south to the North Sound of Virgin Gorda, where the Bitter End Yacht Club, a resort that we considered for the wedding, is located. Logbook
