After we put up the tent we drove to Skyline Skyrides. We took a gondola up a hill and then drove down the hill on paved paths using luges with wheels. Patti thought this isn`t too dangerous as she luges down the hill. It turns out that the luges were much faster than we expected and even on the scenic track we almost fell out of the curves. Patti finally underestimated her speed on the advanced track. She hit the wall, fell of her luge and got bruised all over. Hmm, that`s a good start of our New Zealand adventure experience...
