Red Centre Home > Honeymoon > Australia+NZ > Red Centre Photo 16 of 32 The highlight of camping in the outback was the amazing night sky.  For the first few hours after the sun went down the moon was still up, so it was fairly light.  After the moon set it got totally dark and we had perfect stargazing conditions.
