The next stop on the boat tour was the King Salmon farm located in a small bay. The salmons attract many birds and also New Zealand Fur Seals. The seals are protected, so the farmers can`t do anything against them, even though they hang around hoping to get some of the salmon. If they get into the farm, then the farmers give them a yellow tag and throw them out again. Then the seals try to get in again. Must be a fun game for the seals (not so much for the farmers, though...).
