Kakadu Home > Honeymoon > Australia+NZ > Kakadu Photo 7 of 28 After the cruise we saw a lizard on the parking lot.  It was a Sand Monitor Lizard and it was about 10-15 inches long.  We saw it`s tongue snap out every few seconds as it was tasting the ground for insects.
