The rock paintings at Ubirr were very interesting and reminded us of Nourlangie Rock.  This time it was more interesting, though, since the guide provided a lot of background information.  The most interesting fact about the rock paintings was that they are not considered art by the Aboriginals.  Instead, the Aboriginals used the rocks like a whiteboard when they told stories, for example to their children.
