On our first day we went on the Yurmikmik lookout hike in the Southern end of the park.
We were very excited about hiking in Kakadu, but it only took two hours of intense heat and humidity to turn our hiking excitement into a preference for quick walks and short strolls. The hike went through the habitat of the Southern Hills and Ridges and the landscape was simply beautiful.
