Cairns Home > Honeymoon > Australia+NZ > Cairns Photo 4 of 19 Lake Tinaroo had been formed after the building of a dam 50 years ago.  Due to little rainfall in the last few years the water was about 8 meters under its normal level.  As a result a lot of old dead tree trunks stuck out of the water.
